Your account

Give true details, protect your phone and passkey, and never share verification codes. You are responsible for what happens in your account.

Business accounts

Identity verification is needed before receiving payments. Merchants are responsible for what they sell and may have to refund in a dispute.

Balance and operations

Your balance is in dollars. An operation is complete only when its final status shows, and a transfer between users is final once confirmed.

Buying and selling balance

PAYUNIT holds the seller’s balance until the seller confirms the money arrived, and is not a party to the local payment. Pay only with the method shown in the order, and open a dispute if anything goes wrong.

Fees

Fees are published on the fees page and may change. You see the exact fee before every confirmation.

Prohibited use

Fraud, impersonation, money laundering and funding any illegal activity are forbidden. We may suspend any account that does so.
